I just got some depressing news from my host. They just noticed that I'm hosting copyrighted files on my website like naruto, bleach, eyeshield 21 etc... Not to mention that they choose to hammer down on me rather than the hundreds and hundreds of other people they host with copyrighted files -_- They say I have 1 week to remove them or they will suspend my account. I'm trying to see the extent of their definition of copyrighted materials like if it pertains to the United States or Japan too....which would mean I could keep some of the files on the site.
If I can't keep anything on the site, MangaPimps will most likely become the home to a few scanlation teams to keep the spirit alive of sharing manga with the community. We may not be able to host the files here, but that's what mediafire is for lol.
Hopefully this is not the FULL end of MangaPimps.com Otherwise that would be pretty depressing : (
In the mean time, if there are any other scanlation teams or individuals who would like to help Fusion Scans and Mahou-x scans with their work, please let us know right away in our forum. Then we may be able to pump out releases faster : ] Maybe we can take on some other series then too.
Update: This information is outdated. I will have to get rid of downloads from this site, but it won't stop us from helping you pimp your favorite series to each other.

My apologies for the problems you have been having with downloading manga chapters and more specifically volumes. I have gotten rid of the old download system as the main download hub. It will still be used for Fusion Scans and Mahou-X scans releases on the forums.
This new system provides direct links to the files, rather than masking the URL. This is essentially the same download system used before, it just looks pretty and is easier to use. I'll try to get it developed further for more functionality with the creator.
In other news, I am going to talk with the scan groups to see if we can start moving larger scale if they decide to help eachother with projects. This may yield releases more quickly.
So now, please let me know if the new download system is giving you trouble in this forum post --!!HERE!!--

Just letting you all know that I believe I have worked out a solution to the bugs with the download system. I am going to try to install a new one tomorrow that is similar to the old one, except it looks a lot nicer. We'll give it a test run, so make sure you let me know how it works. I'll update when it is ready for testing.
